Stepping Stones with Helen Dean
I work with adolescents and young adults experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating. My role is to work directly with the eating disorder — supporting nourishment, reducing rigid behaviours, and helping recovery take shape in day-to-day life. I provide structured, recovery-focused care that holds both the physical and behavioural aspects of eating disorders, often alongside other clinicians when needed.
I specialise in working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), recognising how these unique neurotypes intersect with eating behaviours, sensory sensitivities, and emotional regulation.
Together, we’ll work toward a more peaceful relationship with food and body—one that reflects your values, your needs, and your voice.
